What is justrunning?[FGID14FGID]

justrunning is a platform to administer entries into some of the UK's best running events, including the Edinburgh Marathon Festival. Watch the short video below to find out more:

  • Using justrunning is the only way to access charity entries into some of the UK's largest and most successful fundraising events, including the Edinburgh Marathon Festival.

  • Reduce Risk - To facilitate charity entries for your fundraisers, you purchase justrunning credits that do not expire, rather than individual race entries. You therefore remove the risk of purchasing specific race entries that are not filled by runners.

  • Withdraw entrants and receive a 90% refund - Receive a 90% refund on any entries withdrawn up until the Friday before event day.
  • Easy Entry Management - An easy to use entry management system which allows you to see details of all your runners in a single location.

  • JustGiving Integration - justrunning is fully integrated with JustGiving, and provides you with comprehensive live reports on your fundraising income for each event.

  • Free Marketing Toolkits - A comprehensive library of professional marketing assets for each event brand including images and promotional videos.

justrunning is a platform for UK charities of all sizes. Any UK registered charity can become a partner of justrunning via a simple application process

Although justrunning focuses on charity fundraising, non charities can also use justrunning to facilitate event entries. Examples of non charity organisations who use justrunning are businesses, schools and community groups. If you are not a charity and would like to become a justrunning partner, you can apply here

There is no cost to create a new justrunning account, it is free.

If you create an account there is no obligation to purchase credits.

However, once your account has been created, you have 30 days in which you need to make a minimum credit purchase of 300 credits. 300 credits costs £300+VAT.

This initial credit purchase of 300 credits is the only compulsory minimum spend on the platform, there are no ongoing requirements to make future credit purchases.

You don't need to commit to purchase a specific number of entries in any event. Instead, we use a credit-based system. You purchase credits, which you can then use to secure event entries for any event on the platform.

Your credits never expire, so you only use credits to purchase the entries you will need and use.

A credit is the currency a justrunning partner uses to acquire entries into any of the justrunning events.

What is the cost of a justrunning credit in £?[FGID14FGID] cost price pounds money spend

The minimum credit purchase on justrunning is 300 credits, and this will cost you £300+VAT. Therefore, 1 justrunning credit in this example is equivalent to £1+VAT.

However, justrunning credits are sold in bundles of various sizes, and the more credits you buy, the better the cost per credit for your organisation.

Full details of all credit bundles and the respective cost per credit are listed within justrunning once you have an account with us.

What are the credit costs for each event?[FGID14FGID] price prices cost credits credit event

There are a wide range of credit costs depending on the event and race distance. For example, an entry into a 5K will cost significantly fewer credits than an entry into a Marathon.

A full breakdown of the credit costs for each event are displayed within justrunning. You can view the credit costs by creating a justrunning account and opening the Entry Management section.
